The Chedda App is a behavioral transformation engine powered by fun, technology and purpose. Through guided challenges, goals and rewards, children aged 3–17 learn healthy money habits while parents actively participate in shaping their growth. Beyond money, Chedda builds essential life skills such as responsibility, discipline, planning, independence and decision-making. Together with parents and trusted partners, everyday experiences become powerful lessons that prepare children for real life.
Children’s money habits are shaped very early through their subconscious, long before parents realize it. If parents do not intentionally teach financial skills, society automatically fills the gap—teaching children to consume, not save, plan, or invest. That is why even very young children naturally ask to buy things; it is learned behaviour, not bad behaviour. While parents cannot control what the world exposes their children to, they can step in early to counter it with guidance and structure. Teaching children about money is ultimately about shaping responsibility, discipline, confidence and life skills that protect their future.
Not at all. Our approach ties earning to effort—children learn that money is a result of value creation, not entitlement. This builds responsibility, work ethic, and decision-making skills.
For generations, children were kept away from learning about money and grew up wishing they had been taught. Parents who guide their children intentionally help them become confident, disciplined adults who make smarter choices. Repeating the old approach only produces the same struggles and missed opportunities. By stepping in now, we can break the cycle and equip our children to handle money—and life—wisely.
Yes. Parents are required to register, verify their identity and manage the parent wallet. All financial transactions are approved and overseen by the parent.
Yes. We comply with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) to protect your child’s data. Parental consent is mandatory before any child can use the app.
That’s the point—better to make mistakes now with $5 under your supervision than $50,000 later when you can’t guide them. The app creates a safe environment for trial and error, with you as the coach.
Funds move from the payment gateway to the parent’s wallet, then from the parent’s wallet to the child’s wallet. Children can only use funds under parental supervision and for approved purchases.
The app uses real money under strict parental control. No cryptocurrency or speculative trading is involved.
